Dr. Sal R. Varano
Dr. Sal Varano graduated with Honors from New York University College of Dentistry , and was inducted into the Honorary Dental Society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon ; he completed his Residency at the renowned VA Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Varano has been practicing for over 22 years ,during which time he has served as President of the Eastern Dental Society in New York, and been an instructor at NYU Dental School. He also speaks and presides at the Greater New York Dental Meeting , an international convention of dentistry, every November. Dr. Varano keeps up to date by attending close to 50 hours of continuing educational classes a year, ensuring that his patients receive the most up-to-date comprehensive and advanced dental care available. He is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation by NY State. He is also proud to be one of the first and only doctors in the entire NY Metropolitan Area to offer and be certified in Fastbraces, an exciting new but proven technique to our patients.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, NYS Dental Society,Nassau County Dental Society,Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation,Garden City Dental Institute,Franklin Square Study Group,and Sunrise Dental Study Organization.
Dr. Varano lives in the community , and is married and has three children.
